What You'll Do
Marketing Manager: A Unique Opportunity
As a Marketing Manager, you will serve as a leader across relevant geographies and Marketing groups (Canada and Latin America) in the ongoing management of the ADCs product lines. Key responsibilities include championing product development, formulating marketing and sales strategies and providing on market support. This is an onsite Opportunity in Alameda, CA.
Lead long-term Brand equity across CALA through communication management and advertising development, by leveraging on Brand architecture guidelines and a deeper understanding of customer needs.
Work with the Global and Local teams within the Region in the planning, development, implementation and tracking of actionable and value-added Marketing initiatives for the FreesStyle Libre Brand.
Guide and advise the offline & online Marketing communication to expand FreeStyle Libre awareness and consideration, in a time sensitive environment improving Brand love.
Drive and support Marketing initiatives to increase FSL engagement and conversion, as well as the Digital Health Tools usage within the Diabetes community.
Custodian of the Brand image, positioning, and value proposition, guiding and aligning FreeStyle Libre message across Countries according to Global Brand communication strategy.
Leverage insights to optimize Marketing Campaigns and Programs. Understand and coach others on Customer Segmentation.
Responsible for agency management and content production across Regional communication platforms with special focus and emphasis on Digital Media, CRM, PR, and Influencers' Marketing.
Assess the business and market conditions understanding insights and needs.
Identify the need for Market research using appropriate methodologies to drive the outcome desired.
Support Countries with the development and execution of annual Brand plan, coordinating and aligning to the Business Brand strategy.
Translate the strategic Marketing plan in their day-to-day work and interactions, both internally and externally to drive tactics and business results. Develop accurate monthly Brand tracking of Marketing initiatives.
Leverage knowledge of current and forecasted trends to inform marketing direction. Understand impact of new emerging therapies.
Ability to look for, find and propose relevant claims/stories to tell based on clinical outcomes. Ability to uncover Real World insights to support marketing positioning and differentiation.
Familiarity with relevant Clinical/ Medical studies in Diabetes management to facilitate clinical conversations with KOLs and Medical Societies.
Accountable for department/team budget. Ensures budget alignment within targets by anticipating potential over-under delivery and developing contingency plans.
Understand financial LBE planning process and manage A&P for the Marketing Function.
Work together with other areas (Regulatory, Legal, OEC, Medical, Supply) at Regional and Local levels to facilitate programs executions and manage risk.
Understand and coordinate with Global and Local Marketing teams the communication model and deliverables to support new product development and launch.
Share knowledge and best practices across countries (Worldwide Best practices included). Work as an effective two-way translator for Local and Global teams based on analysis and feedback.

This position is responsible to interact with:
Internally with all functions in ADC (Commercial, Regulatory, IT, Medical, Finance, Supply, Legal, OEC). Also is responsible to interact with Global and Regional Management Team in Alameda California.
Externally with Media, PR and Communication/Creative agencies, as well as with Key Suppliers and Clients.
Experience You'll Bring
Six years marketing experience with a minimum of four years in a commercial role including, product marketing.
Bachelor's Degree required
Self-starter that is assertive, possesses a high degree of self-confidence and intellectual curiosity, and demonstrates good executive presence.
Proven ability to identify/define business questions and issues and develop strategic, analytical and financial frameworks to conduct analysis.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment.
Comfortable working across functional areas (ex. R&D, Regulatory, Operations, etc.) and at varying levels of the organization.
Previous experience with product development (preferably in a technology driven business), marketing strategy, market research, business development and international business.
Executive education and Master's degree is desired and considered a plus.
Demonstrated success in challenging industries and Regional management for Canada and/or Latin American countries.
Proven experience managing Digital media, Content creation and PR/Influencers' campaigns.
The position requires international travel 30-40% of the time.
This position may be hired at different levels depending on the experience of the candidate.
