Harborview Medical Center’s (HMC) Employee Health has an outstanding opportunity for an 100% FTE (40 hours per week), Day Shift (with weekend availability), Registered Nurse (RN2).
Harborview’s Employee Health is seeking an RN interested in occupational health. This RN will care for Harborview employees as patients, engage in data tracking and analysis, provide direct patient care as needed, provide education, and work closely with Infection Prevention & Control.
Under general supervision of Employee Health leadership and in alignment with Occupational Health Nursing standards, the Registered Nurse (RN2) will support Harborview’s Employee Health services by performing direct patient (employees) care; technical procedures or monitoring that may be invasive and require skills validations; transportation of patients (employees), supplies and specimens; ordering and stocking of supplies; and maintenance of special equipment. In addition, the RN role is responsible for supporting the Employee Health program by engaging with PSN, workplace violence, ergonomics, lactation room management, data and reporting.
SCHEDULE: 100% FTE (40 hours per week), Day Shift (with weekend availability)
LOCATION: Harborview Medical Center Campus - Seattle, First Hill
REQUIREMENTS: 2 years of recent clinical experience as an RN Current BLS certification Demonstrative knowledge and understanding of information technology (heavy utilization of outlook, one drive, one note, SharePoint, excel, etc.) Experience and/or interest in Occupational Health nursing
DESIRED: 5 years experience as an RN preferred Experience in occupational health, infection prevention & control, proficient in Microsoft programs (excel, word, teams)
LEGAL REQUIREMENTS: Washington State RN license required by start date.
