Acelis Connected Health Technology's Digital team is looking for a knowledgeable and hard working software engineer to join our talented development team. In this role you will be challenged to craft innovative solutions using the latest Microsoft tools across web, mobile and connected devices. In developing the patient and clinic facing applications, your attention to the end user experience and knowledge of industry best practices will be of the utmost importance. Your well rounded expertise will be leveraged to architect creative solutions as well as mentor peers and colleagues. As part of the commercial emerging technologies group you will be called upon to research and create functional prototypes to showcase our capabilities.
What you will do:
Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
The Senior Software Application Developer develops information systems by designing, developing and installing software solutions. This role also provides assistance and guidance to other Software Application Developers in delivering solutions or completing assignments.
Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
Mentor or lead other Software Application Developers in delivering solutions or completing assignments.
Consults with the project team that may consist of business customers, technical staff, advisors, designers and developers to create viable solutions including design, development and testing of those solutions put forth.
Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
Improves operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.
Obtains and licenses software by obtaining required information.
Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
What you will need: (Qualifications)
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, Business Management or related field.
Good communicator with all levels within an organization including written and oral communication.
8+ years prior experience of coding (using .NET (VB.NET and/or C#.NET) and other Microsoft technologies).
Technical Certifications or Certifications in Information Systems or Management a plus.
