Develop and implement the environmental health and safety education, outreach, and continuous improvement program.
Administer and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives, training, and awareness events that support proactive safety culture.
Oversees development, administrative, logistics, and quality control for the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Learning Management System (LMS) and other systems that support training and certification programs.
Participate in quality review of all Environmental Health and Safety processes, policies, programs, and procedures.
Manage projects that include the creation of educational programs, digital content multimedia resources, course components, and learning objectives.
Serves as a liaison for Environmental Health and Safety education, outreach, and continuous improvement program projects, purchasing, and service requests.
Supervise administrative support staff, clerical processes, and ensures customer service coverage during operating hours.
Develop contact database, email distribution system, and customer service procedures.
Facilitate presentations, using effective written and verbal communication.
Analyze performance metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Minimum Experience / Education:
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
University Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation from a four year college or university and at least three years of program associate experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Master's degree in instructional technology, digital media, education, safety, or related field required.
A minimum of three to five years of experience related to program support, instructional technology, training, or learning management systems.
Prior work experience in higher education, public education, or no other public sector institution.
Experience planning and executing short, medium, and long-term projects and initiatives.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to and with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Advanced knowledge and application of technology solutions such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, and Learning Management Systems.
