Business Function Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. Responsibilities
Act as subject matter expert to research and advise stakeholders to make better business decisions aligned to the Bank sustainability agenda
Perform research and analysis of sustainability aspects of vendor solutions, and support the development of business case to maximise ROI
Develop sustainability specifications and business requirements for material vendor products and services consumed by the Bank
Identify sustainability projects and improvement opportunities including provision of recommendations for prioritisation and Bank-wide implementation plans
Act as cross-functional leader for key sustainable operations projects and derive framework and lessons learned
Passionate about sustainability and committed to making a difference every day
5 years' experience in driving sustainable supply chain agenda, NGO or emerging markets experience is a plus
Familiar with concepts such as materiality, risk management, human rights, fair labour standards, modern slavery, ethics, anti-corruption, occupational health and safety, theory of change, etc.
Customer-focused, excellent relationship management and communications skills
Degree from a reputable university, specialist degree in sociology or public policy is a plus
