Occupational Health is a section of Human Resources dedicated to the detection, prevention, evaluation and treatment of specific job-related injuries and/or illnesses. The department also provides health education for OHSU employees and volunteers. Occupational Healths exposure control and compliance programs are critical to keeping OHSU staff and volunteers healthy, which also protects the patients, students and community we serve.
Responsible for COVID-19 Patient check-in, Epic order submission for COVID-19 test to be performed. Including collection of CDC and OHSU required screening questions. Additional responsibilities may include: Running labs, sending negative result notifications, order supplies, and manage patient flow by directing patients at the testing site.
Perform COVID-19 NP Swab for COVID test.
Assist in training new aids
High School diploma or GED
Reads, writes and speaks fluent English
Must be able to effectively utilize oral and written communication skills with staff and the public in English
Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks
Ability to develop systems/routine independently to reflex standard work defined by unit
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
Basic understanding of OHSU University Hospital and Clinic Policies and ProceduresEpic or EMR experience
Computer and Microsoft Office experience
