The Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University seeks a part-time instructor to teach two 3-credit online synchronous and asynchronous courses through University College:
GEO 155-The Natural Environment, during the 8 Week I session, meets January 18, 2022 through March 11, 2022.
GEO 316- River Environments, during the 8 Week II Session, meets March 14, 2022 through May 5, 2022.
GEO 155 Course Description: This course examines major systems within our natural environment: climate; vegetation; soils; hydrology (water); and landforms. The processes and environmental interactions that shape these systems will be stressed, and the varying processes and forms found in different environments on the earth will be examined. The course looks into explaining the distribution of natural features around the earth. Attention is given to the problems that can arise in the interaction between human activity and the
