Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Per-Diem Work Assistant for the Clinical Research and Occupational Medicine Division within the Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute (EOHSI). Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, the Work Assistant will be a member of the Paulsboro Per and Polyfluoroakyl Substance (PFAS) Health Study Team to help with study activities.
Among the key duties of this position are the following: * Assists the Site Coordinator with research and general office tasks. * Maintains and performs accurate data tracking, evaluation, and reporting. * Obtains proper training about study protocol and procedures. * Participates in a community wide canvass to recruit study participants. * Performs clerical and administrative study activities as directed.
Minimum Education and Experience:
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Computer literate, specifically with Microsoft applications.
* Flexibility in working weekends and nights.
* Preference will be given to those who have knowledge of and familiarity with the Paulsboro community and environment, whether through work, home, or some other community affiliation.
