| We have an opening for a Full-time Medical Assistant (MA) to work with our clinic located in Blaine, WA! We have a full time opening at our BP based primary care and occupational health clinic. This position will work Monday through Thursday from 0630 – 1700 with occasional Friday’s from 8-12. No holidays! No weekends! No on call! We have a small patient population which allows time to fully engage in our patient’s medical experience and provide personalized care at a manageable pace. Essential Functions: Interviews patients, measures vital signs and records information in patients' charts Prepares treatment rooms and patients for examination Inventories medical supplies and equipment Operates medical equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests Gives injections or treatments and performs routine laboratory tests Schedules appointments and makes follow up phone calls to patients Performs administrative tasks, completes appropriate client company forms and provides assistance at front desk Keys data into EPIC and Cority to maintain clinic and patient records Maintains a clean and safe environment. Follows infection control procedures. Maintains patient privacy and confidential patient information. Other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications Education: CMA or MA licensed in WA State Current Basic Life Support CPR for health care providers is required. Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred . Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software Knowledge of EPIC Strong phlebotomy/venipuncture skills
