Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist (2002899) - Huntsville, AL
Where the Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a professional like you to serve as Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist at the Huntsville Alabama manufacturing facility. This position involves working with two other EHS professionals in the direct support of the Process Safety and Equipment Safety EHS programs.
Your key priorities will include managing the Process, Product and Equipment Safety programs for the site. This involves developing and updating process safety plans and includes leading initiatives to improve overall process safety performance by analyzing past events and using your problem-solving skills to lead innovative solutions. While the site is not currently a PSM facility, your extensive experience with Process Safety Management tools will assist you in your role. Additionally, you will lead machine assessments and ensure that we meet or exceed equipment safety standards such as machine guarding, lock-out / tag-out and other controls for hazardous energy.
