Research assistants for mixed-method study examining the association between sexual minority status, multi-level HIV related vulnerabilities and risk mitigation mechanisms among high-risk sexual minority women (HR-SMW).
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
We are seeking 1-2 research assistants with qualitative and/or quantitative research experience, study coordination experience, and interest in sexual minority health. Tasks will include a combination of the following, with room for expansion and adaptation for the right person:
• Quantitative analysis
• Qualitative data collection- e.g. interviewing participants
• Qualitative data analysis- including codebook development, coding, synthesizing findings, etc.
• Support overall study coordination and implementation
• Contribute to manuscript preparation
Minimum Qualifications (Required)
Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
Some related experience.
Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU Equivalency Formula: 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for the required education on the same basis. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job. *
Preferred qualifications include some combination of the following: experience with qual and/or quant data collection and analysis; project coordination experiences; and LGBTQ competence. Maturity, responsibility, adaptability, and sense of humor required!

CITI certification preferred, if not can be acquired on the job
Ability to sit for 1-2 hours at a time to complete interviews.
