University Health Services is seeking a full-time Physician to work in our Employee Health and our Primary Care Clinic. The duties of this position include: providing high-quality and cost-efficient healthcare for both UKHC employee patients and student patients at the University of Kentucky that will consist of a complete and accurate medical history, physical examination, diagnosis, treatment, and documentation using the electronic medical record.
Patients should be seen on-time and treated respectfully by making customer service a top priority; and the clinician will be expected to participate in teaching health care students and residents.
The ideal candidate will possess clinical primary care and occupational health experience ; have direct patient care experience; have the ability to manage multiple activities and timelines; have strong customer service skills; excellent perception and active listening skills; possess a high attention to detail; be well organized; have exceptional communication skills (both written & verbal); enjoy working independently as well as closely with their co-workers in a supportive team environment; be dependable and possess good computer skills (to include Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft Office).

Required License/Registration/Certification :
Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Kentucky
Board eligible/certified in a primary care specialty including but not limited to Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Preventive Medicine.
Preferred experience in musculoskeletal or sports medicine, occupational health, student health, or workers compensation.
