Environmental Health Science and Occupational Hygiene & Safety Adjunct Faculty (POOL)

Job Description: To serve as the faculty of record of courses in the Occupational Hygiene and Safety (OHS) and Environmental Health Science (EH) programs in the Department of Social and Public Health. Duties include developing syllabi, teaching both online and face to face (virtually if necessary), and submitting grades. Possible courses include: Laboratory Safety, Occupational Hygiene and Professions Sampling and Analysis, Toxicology, Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Ventilation with Laboratory, Physical Hazards Evaluation and Control, Public Health Emergency Response, Environmental Health Management, and other courses. Applications to this pool will be selected to fill part-time, non-tenure track, non-benefits eligible instructor positions for OHS/EH courses on the Athens campus. Applications will be accepted into the pool on an ongoing basis. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Hygiene, and Safety or related field. Previous teaching experience face to face and online, including experience using a learning management system such as Blackboard.
