The HRIS Manager shall be responsible for:
Managing the Hospital's HR information system and ensuring data integrity. Consulting and collaborating with HRIS team, HR staff, IS and external vendors to design, develop and maintain the HRMS. Recommends enhancements as appropriate.
Providing continuing support to employees, managers and Human Resources staff in the identification, data base design, report design and work analysis leading to automated applications.
Providing continuing support to managers and supervisors by developing information and reports as requested.
Planning, prioritizing, delegating and monitoring employee performance providing feedback and guidance as needed. Selecting, evaluating, and coaching staff as appropriate. Training and orienting new personnel and communicating changes in Hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Completing employee evaluations on an annual basis.
Maintaining a strong, working relationship with departments such as ISD, Payroll and Budget, among others, in order to maintain the HRIS and install changes, upgrades and new programs.
Supporting activities developing and completing a variety of informational reports the of the Hospital's interactions with is required to furnish to various state, federal and health industry agencies.
Developing, managing, and monitoring department operating budget.
Managing and supporting vendor relationships for hosted HR and Occupational Health applications.
Providing support for HR transformational initiatives in a leadership role.
In order to qualify you must have:
A Bachelor's Degree.
10 years of progressively responsible experience with human resources' enterprise-wide systems.
Analytical skills to resolve complex problems requiring the use of programming, mathematical, or technical principles and in depth, experienced based cross functional knowledge.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, facilitating group information needs and translating those needs into specifications that outline data system requirements.
Familiarity with information system capabilities and trends and detailed knowledge of a broad set of HR and Occupational Health systems.
Knowledge of and with experience with PeopleSoft 9.2, BrassRing, Occupational Health Manager (OHM) and SharePoint applications is a plus.
