TheEmployee Health RN will plan,develop, implement and evaluate all activities and services relating to theEmployee Health Service and Workers’ Compensation Program to provide highquality and cost effective occupational health services to employees,volunteers, and physicians of Rose Medical Center. Provides all clinical aspects of the EHSincluding assessment and treatment of employee injuries/illnesses, post offerscreening, occupational testing and surveillance programs, and employeeinfection control. Provides triage foron-the-job injuries. Acts as InjuryCoordinator for the facility and manages the Healthy Work Experience program byworking cooperatively with other staff, including corporate, in theinvestigation, monitoring, tracking and follow-up of employee injuries andhealth and safety issues in the work environment. Must be detail oriented and a strong employeehealth resource.

Certificationor eligibility as a certified occupational health nurse preferred
ValidColorado Driver’s license
Associate’sdegree in nursing required. BSN preferred.
BLScertification through the American Heart Association is required.
3-4years nursing required
Previousoccupational health nursing and workers’ compensation experience preferred
Experiencein Emergency Dept, orthopedic nursing, case management desirable
Advancedphysical assessment and case management skills required.
Knowledgeof occupational health, safety, ergonomic and workers’ compensation preferred.
Effectivewritten and oral communication skills: Teaching, counseling and participationin presentations required.
Organizationskills and ability to set priorities is essential.
Demonstratesflexibility to reprioritize activities due to constant interruptions.
Mustbe able to work alone, as well as collaboratively as a member of a team.
Knowledgeof OSHA law, FMLA, and ADA preferred.
Computerskills helpful (i.e. use of database, word processor).
