Responsible for coordination of the administrative functions for the Dean's Office within the College of Education and Human Services and serves as the primary support for the EHS Dean/Associate Dean. Performs complex and varied executive assistant duties that require a high degree of decision-making and independence of action.
Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience that equates to two years. Three years of progressively responsible experience of a qualifying nature. Supervisory experience. Must be able to work with a high level of independence and a high degree of autonomy. Ability to determine priorities, maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues with self-initiative. Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook Calendar, PowerPoint and e-mail. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive and productive interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to apply technologies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of communication. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with our without reasonable accommodation.
