Responsible for ensuring the business makes better decisions through collection and usage of Facility and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) data. Ensures business data and analysis requirements are met by properly applying data concepts, including data structures, collection and cleansing, and structured and unstructured data analysis and reporting. Ability to collect, analyze, manipulate, and report on CBRE, EHS, and Client data.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops ad-hoc analytics and reporting based on analysis of existing data sources, utilizing a variety of tools (i.e. IWMS, Rifiniti, Tableau, Service Insight, Smartsheet).
Develops data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, cleanse, and standardize data in order to generate insights and addresses reporting needs. Support the development and issuing of reports as directed.
Defines data requirements and gathers and validates information, using judgment and statistical tests.
Utilizes programming and analytical tools to formulate models and/or extract insights.
Gather EHS violation information and post in EHS tracking tool. Conduct status meetings to review open issues from tracker.
Follow-up on EHS issues and verify completion; correspond with responsible parties about progress of issue.
Well versed in knowledge of creating algorithms, identifying patterns and insights from structured and unstructured data sets utilizing graphs, trees and/or other data representation techniques as required.
Identifies opportunities to maximize data usage, applying modeling and optimization methods to develop new strategies and improve business performance.
Identifies and troubleshoots data integration and integrity issues in cooperation with the appropriate CBRE business units; designs work flows and procedures.
Exhibits analytical rigor, judgment, and ability to present a comprehensive 'data story' to multiple levels of the organization.
Assist in documenting and reporting of key metrics (e.g. hazards, near misses, incidents, etc.).
Attend meetings to report data, occupancy and EHS related issues, requirements, challenges and opportunities.
* BA/BS degree in a related discipline or 5+ years equivalent experience in field of study (i.e. Data Analytics, Corporate Real Estate & Facilities Management, Facilities, Environmental Health and Safety, etc.)
-Familiarity with the world of Environmental Health and Safety -OSHA 30 minimum certification -CSHO preferred certification * Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. * Requires strong analytical skills. Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. * Ability to calculate simple figures (percentages), as well as more complex calculations * Ability to understand and carry out general instructions and solve problems in standard situations. * Proficient in MS Office. * Knowledge of Excel Pivots, IWMS/CAFM systems, Tableau is a plus * Experience in communicating with all levels of management * Strong organizational skills with attention to details. * Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. * Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. * Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. * Strong communication skills.
