Position Summary: Manage emerging infectious disease, highly resistant organism and seasonal influenza preparedness, including coordination with multiple departments and administration to develop & maintain preparedness plans, develop employee/physician communication and education, and maintain equipment and supplies for training & preparedness. Work with the Department of Epidemiology & Infection Prevention and Department of Emergency Management to actively coordinate internal and external information gathering regarding threats and situational status of UC Irvine Health. Serve as a biosafety officer for UC Irvine Health to coordinate biosafety risk mitigation. Responsibility & oversight includes both inpatient and ambulatory sites.
Rate Minimum $80,000.00 Maximum $144,300.00
