The IUPUI Office of Campus Facility Services (CFS) is seeking a Facility Program Coordinator for Maintenance.
This position performs a variety of facility program/project management related duties in support of CFS Maintenance operations focusing on, but not limited to: asset management, safety and life programs, research, inspections, data analysis, and other equipment/supply issues.
PRIMARYDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct independent field inspections to ensure that the maintenance work completed meets expectations and complies with internal policies, processes, and OSHA regulations.
Proactively research and schedule various trainings for facilities staff with regard to current industry standards, practices and techniques. Consult with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) with regard to current industry safety requirements to ensure CFS internal training programs stay relevant.
Assist in the development of programs/procedures in an effort to ensure employee safety and efficient use of equipment, technology, and resources by facilities staff.
Collborate with Emergency Management, IN-LOCC, EHS and IUPD as well as other departments on campus to support the creation and evaluation of campus-wide safety initiatives.
Assist in the development of programs/procedures related to elevators, generators, closed water loop systems, backflow devices, administrative vehicles and carts. Collaborate with facilities management to maintain inventories for these programs and develop upkeep and replacement plans.
REQUIRED: High School Diploma or GED, plus 5 years verifiable experience in a facilities upkeep related field. Must have a Valid Driver’s License.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities: Meet the university driving privileges policy. Working knowledge of maintenance processes and work methods, and the tools used to perform maintenance and repair of buildings and facilities. Experience with applications used in business environments such as office suites and productivity tools. Ability to utilize facilities management software and database structures. Knowledge of applicable building codes, regulations or ordinances.
