This position will be responsible for billing; University Farms Service Center, Blacksmith shop and Compost Facility are all represented for the following items: Scan and enter credit card and fuel receipts into billing program. Generate monthly invoices to clients based on services rendered. Keep log of credit card purchases and generate monthly report. Enter invoices into internal billing after approval by Farm Manager. Print off monthly ledgers. Manure/Crop Production Data Entry; Take manure records from previous day and enter into manure program. Print off weather data for current day. Billing if any on manure jobs. Run year end manure reports. Enter crop production data into program. Run end of the year reports and issue end of the year crop production billing; Payroll/Hiring – Print time sheets for each employee with name and dates. Reconcile time sheets with time clock and enter into EBS. Send signed time sheets to LMO office. Keep records of overtime, temporary/on-call time for records. Hiring of all students; on-call, and temp - filling out all paper work and I9 documentation; Occupational Health/Safety Training – Coordinates CDL physical, hearing test, SCBA fit test for University Farms Service Center Staff and outlying stations. Complete paperwork for driver’s forms and submit. New hires, and current staff: Make sure appropriate safety training is completed first time and annually; General Office - Check emails and schedule appointments for University Farms Manager. Schedule annual events for staff, equipment and/or facilities which University Farms Service Center participates in: Homecoming Parade, University Activities Board Hayride, summer picnic, Christmas lunch. Monitor and order supplies when low.
Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
Knowledge normally acquired through a high school education; six months to a year of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in typing, spreadsheet software and word processing; may require experience as a Cashier/Teller and in bookkeeping/accounting procedures or knowledge of technical or medical terminology and/or technical training related to the field of employment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
