Award-winning King County Wastewater Treatment Division (WTD) seeks a Sustainable Resources Manager. This position manages a $20 million annual budget and a twenty-person team of engineers, scientists, and project managers responsible for utilizing the sustainable products from WTD’s waste stream and supporting sustainability and innovation. The Sustainable Resources Manager will oversee the strategic development and diversification of customer relationships while managing external relations and program operations for all "waste to resource" programs. Requires a bachelor's degree or the equivalent on-the-job experience in public administration, environmental science, engineering, or similar fields as well as 5 years of experience managing staff and supervisors, which includes staff development and performance management for various disciplines (e.g., engineers, educators, scientists, planners, and project managers).
