The Department of Geography & Environment in Rowan's newly established School of Earth and Environment is accepting applications for a temporary three-quarter time position (three courses each semester) to teach courses within our dynamic interrelated programs. The department houses baccalaureate degrees in Geography, Environmental Studies, Planning and Geographic Information Science. Courses will include Earth, People and Environment, and may also include Cultural Geography, World Regional Geography, Principles of Earth Science and/or other courses as needed and as per the candidate's qualifications. Departmental service is expected which may include supervising research intern projects.
A Master?s degree in Geography/Environmental Studies/Science/Earth Science or related field is minimally required and an ABD or Ph.D. is preferred.
