Assist with the implementation of Injury Prevention and Workers' Compensation program. Develop online safety education materials. Facilitate classroom safety training sessions. Conduct accident investigations. Perform safety assessments and assist customers with service request. Conduct safety inspections to identify and correct hazardous conditions. Continuously monitor safety performance and draft reports.
Minimum Experience / Education:
Four year degree with a preference for a related major in a physical science, biological science, environmental science/engineering, occupational safety, industrial technology or closely related science; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Graduation from a four-year college or university with a major in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science or other life science program. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in order to simultaneously manage numerous job task with varying degrees to complexity in a timely and professional manner. Experience conducting accident investigation, hazard assessments, and inspections. Knowledge of industrial equipment, hand and power tools.
