Where the Chemistry Happens
The Dispersions & Resins business of BASF develops, produces and markets a range of high-quality resins, additives, colorants and polymer dispersions worldwide. These raw materials are used in formulations for coatings and paints, printing and packaging products, adhesives, construction chemicals, nonwovens, and paper manufacturing.
As a member of the Dispersions & Resins North American Product Stewardship team, you will directly contribute to the success of our business by enabling the launch and promotion of our products into our customers' food contact applications. You will collaborate with internal colleagues such as sales & marketing, technical, R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory to convert customer and market needs into profitable business. You will interact directly with customers and suppliers to verify product compliance, respond to customer requests and manage compliance issues.
Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Formula for Success
Developing a deep understanding of the Dispersions & Resins business strategy, you will accelerate new product introductions and boost launch efficiency.
Leveraging your food contact expertise and application knowledge, you will assess our products for compliance against global food contact regulations (e.g. US FDA, EU EFSA, China GB 9685) and author food contact statements.
Translating complex regulations into easily understandable information, you will support the education, training and proactive advisement of customers and internal colleagues.
Demonstrating your leadership and project management skills, you will ensure the integrity of required data and coordinate analytical and toxicological studies in support of Food Contact Notifications.
Successfully communicating across BASF global regions and divisions, you will ensure a consistent approach to regulation interpretations and food contact assessments.
