Environmental Site Assessor - EHS Project Manager Compliance Specialist (L-III)

This position will serve as a contracted employee who will work as a vendor onsite at a prominent search engine company, supporting the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) department. Your primary function will be supporting the EHS Strategic Operations team by completing work streams to deliver various cross-functional projects to our clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, implement and manage efficient incident reporting and communication management process to provide raw data for metrics development
Develop, implement and manage efficient incident investigations processes, to include investigating incidents (Injuries, Illnesses, near-misses) for Bay Area Region and cooperatively develop action plans to prevent further incidents
Work with key departments, architect and build an efficient incident reporting and communication management process to provide raw data for metrics development Incident Reporting and Process Development
Manage the Incident data for worldwide injuries, illnesses, near-misses, hazards, and other EHS related incidents.
Work with departments and vendors to obtain data for metric development. Develop and maintain logs and metrics for reporting to Google management, OSHA, CalOSHA, Bureau of Labor Statistics and other departments.
Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

Experience developing and managing Injury, Illness Prevention Plan operations.
Degree within Environmental Health and Safety field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in consulting, project management, or a related EHS field.
Experience managing project teams and budgets, and translating technical concepts into online learning narratives and instructor led curriculums
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and impeccable business judgment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills exhibited in complex operational settings.
Ability to drive decisions, lead meetings/strategy discussions, define priorities, and decide which course of action (and adjust when it needs adjusting).
Demonstrated consultative skills as applied to technical problem solving, including good business understanding and the ability to develop consolidated understanding of requirements from multiple stakeholders.
