The Clinical Nurse Manager will plan and administer outpatient care services for clinical department; collaborate with health care providers to establish standards of care for the specialty practices; supervise medical assistants administratively and clinical nurses directly, and may have oversight of the PSC's. He/She will also be responsible for nursing practice standards, regulatory compliance and performance improvement activities of the clinic operation.
Design, manage, and evaluate the systems through which patient care is delivered and maintain an efficient and cost-effective environment conducive to quality patient care
Plan and monitor budgets in the areas of nursing personnel, medical-surgical supplies, equipment, and medications
Practice nursing per clinical policy and protocols for the GYN/OB department and under the nursing scope of practice for the State of Maryland. May perform case management services to patients from initial intake visit through termination of services.
Minimum qualifications (mandatory):
Individual must be a registered nurse, licensed in the State of Maryland or state where practicing. Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Master's degree in Nursing preferred.

Minimum of three years clinical nursing experience in OB/GYN.
Minimum of three years leadership experience required.
Related master's degree may be considered in lieu of some experience. Prior supervisory experience may substitute for up to two years of required nursing experience
JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job.
Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
