The Environmental Microbiologist series in Public Works & Water is responsible for the microbiological conditions and microbial organisms in wastewater from collection, process analyses and treatment, as well as analyses of storm water and related toxicological analyses of wastewater and storm water and plant effluent samples.
*Requires a Bachelor’s degree in microbiology; molecular biology; biochemistry, public health or a related field and 2 years of experience as a professional level Microbiologist which included at least one year of experience conducting microbiological, molecular, inorganic, and organic chemical, biochemical, and bacteriological tests related to the analysis of drinking water or wastewater in a state certified laboratory.
