Assistant/Associate Professor - School of Built Environment – Ferris State University
Teach and advise students in a four-year BS Construction Management program (accredited by the American Council for Construction Education - ACCE) and in two separate two-year AAS programs - Building Construction Technology and Civil Engineering Technology. Teaching assignments will be from a wide range of construction technology and construction management topics. Position may require teaching online or at off-campus location in Grand Rapids.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or appropriate related field. (Master's degree in an approved related field will be required prior to tenure.) Bachelor degree holders: Minimum of 10 years of full-time US commercial or industrial construction industry practice with increasing levels of responsibility, culminating in a project management position. Master's degree holders: Minimum of 5 years full-time US commercial or industrial construction industry experience with increasing levels of responsibility. Proficiency in current industry computer applications. Excellent communication skills.
