The Metropolitan Council Environmental Services (MCES) Division has vacancy for a WastewaterOperations Program Supervisor to provide leadership and management to continuous improvement initiatives including: 1) designing, developing, and maintaining job aids such as standard operating procedures (SOPs); 2) developing training and certification process and content; 3) leading structured on-the-job training efforts; and 4) leading root-cause analysis investigations.
Hiring Range: $69,451 to $81,000 / year
Full Salary Range: $69,451 to $98,530 / year
Bachelor degree in science, business management, wastewater, engineering, environmental science, or related field.
Four (4) years of experience in a technical role/operating a wastewater facility or equivalent industry (petrochemical plant or other industrial/manufacturing environment).
Two (2) years of lead or supervisory experience.
A valid driver's license is required.
A combination of education and experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
Experience writing and publishing job aides such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), preferably using Arbortext authoring and content management software or a similar authoring software.
Experience designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating training.
Experience in team facilitation.
Technical writing experience
Experience in project management.
