ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH, AND SAFETY (EHS) PROGRAM MANAGER, Dean for Student Life (DSL), to provide day-to-day oversight of the Division of Student Life's implementation of the Environment Health and Safety Management System (EHS-MS). Will develop, implement, and maintain programs to ensure that all DSL operational areas are in compliance with applicable EHS regulations, requirements, and best practices, including those of the EPA, OSHA, and other relevant agencies; work closely with MIT's EHS Office to ensure that DSL meets or exceeds EHS requirements; and work on special projects as determined by DSL management in conjunction with the EHS Office.
REQUIRED: a bachelor's degree (master's preferred); three years' experience in environment, safety, and facilities operational areas; excellent interpersonal, organizational, program management, and computer skills; and knowledge of EHS regulations. Attention to detail, strong follow-through, and the ability to take initiative and work under pressure are required. Knowledge of MIT and of risk management strategies would be helpful.. Job #14844-P
