Ambient Group, Inc. maintains a full service environmental laboratory in Manhattan, New York City. Our laboratory is accredited by The New York State Department of Health’s Environmental Laboratory Approval Program (ELAP) and the CDC ELITE Program.
We offer environmental analysis in the following three service categories:
Legionella (Culture and PCR)
Total and Fecal Coliforms
Mold (Spore Counting and PCR)
Asbestos and Vermiculite (TEM, PLM, PCM)
We are currently seeking to fill a Laboratory Director Position to manage all laboratory operations or a Group Director/ Manager to manage the Inorganic Chemistry and Environmental Microbiology Divisions.
Educational and Experiential Requirements:
Candidate must meet minimum ELAP educational and experiential standards for each Division that they are seeking to direct.
Candidate must be proficient in performing all laboratory bench work, writing and maintaining SOP’s, Quality Control and Quality Assurance as required by ELAP and other accrediting agencies for each division that they are seeking to direct.
Candidate must have working knowledge laboratory management software and software development.
Candidate must have experience in managing workload, employee time, resources and administrative duties required to maintain laboratory accreditation and customer services to internal and external clients.
